                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE TRACTS OF LAND LOCATED AT 1016 PARK
                   AVENUE, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN,
                   FROM R-3 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO M-1 MANUFACTURING
                   ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
                Tracts of land located at 1016 Park Avenue being
                the south 25 feet of the north 70 feet of lot 132,
                Park Place Addition to Chattanooga, plat book 1,
                page 2, ROHC, deed book 5027, page 948, ROHC. Tax
                Map No. 146H-P-31.
               
         from R-3 Residential Zone to M-1 Manufacturing Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
              	   1.	Maintaining a sight-obscuring screen along the
         north line of the property in accordance with the M-1 Screening 

         Provisions; and
              	   2.	Maintaining a sight-obscuring screen along the east 

         line of the property in accordance with the M-1 Screening
         Provisions; and
              	   3.	All existing easements are retained.
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
